Mazda has announced the plans to make a compact sedan on the base of Mazda 2. The car will be available in a month, on 28th of November at the motor show in Thailand. New products will be designed for the Asian market, but the supplies to Europe are also planned.
Initially sedan will be presented with a 1.5-liter diesel engine SKYACTIV-D with 105 horsepower. Later, perhaps, they will have gasoline engines too.
In addition, very soon the company is planning to introduce a new crossover based on the same Mazda2. It will receive the title of SH3. They have already posted some teasers novelties and the premiere will take place at Los Angeles Auto show.
The crossover will get increased ground clearance and new body panels. According to unofficial information, the motors of the car will be 1.5-liter petrol SKYACTIV-G and 1.5-litre diesel SKYACTIV-D.
