Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corporation remains the world leader in terms of the number of sold cars. The data published today concerns the sales between January and September of this year.
According to the published information, since the beginning of the year, Toyota sold worldwide 7 615 000 million cars. It is by 2.8% more than last year. On the second place is the German company Volkswagen AG — 7 million 540 thousand sold cars. On the third place is American auto giant General Motors, which sold from January to September, 7 million 372 thousand cars, that is by 2% more than the rates in 2013.
