VW will produce electric vehicles in China

Volkswagen AG announced about the signing of an agreement with the largest Chinese automaker SAICMotor Corporation Ltd, concerning the beginning of the production of hybrid electric vehicles for the largest auto market in the world. The first electric vehicles will be produced in Shanghai in four years. German carmaker Volkswagen AG and the largest Chinese automobile Corporation SAIC Motor announced about the signing of a partnership agreement for the production of hybrid electric vehicles for the Chinese market. They will be carried out an existing joint factory in Shanghai. In total 15 different models, starting from hybrid and fully electric will be produced. The agreement is a part of VW's strategy, which includes investment in China auto market, amounting to 22 billion euro until the end of 2019. Chinese market is growing for electric vehicles and hybrids production. The Chinese authorities have demonstrated their interest in clean technologies, and monstrous smog, which sometimes covers major Chinese cities, making electric vehicles not only interesting, but also desirable for consumers.

China has its own electric vehicle manufacturer-Kandi Technologies. Also, the market represented by the American manufacturer of luxury electric vehicles, the Tesla.

Bentley replaced the Chief Designer

Chief Designer of Bentley and in general of the concern Volkswagen AG left the Belgian Luc Donkervol′ke, who was responsible for the look of all Bentley cars, starting from 2012 onwards. He will remain responsible for image of the crossover Bentayga, which will be released at the end of this year. Luc Donkervol′ke was replaced by the new Chief Designer Stephan Zilaf. Mr. Zilaf is working in Volkswagen AG already 25 years. Volkswagen showed sketches of the concept Passat CC

German auto producer Volkswagen showed preliminary sketches of the next generation Passat CC. Customers will be able to see this new concept at the auto show in Geneva. Volkswagen says goodbye to Eos model

More than a year ago, Volkswagen stated that they are not going to develop a new generation of convertible Eos, or to create a new model, which will act as a successor. "Juke" of the world’s poorest President

Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, who is known for his ascetic lifestyle and is considered one of the most modest of Heads of the States, received an offer from an unnamed Arab Sheik about buying his Volkswagen Juke of 1987 year. The car was rated one million dollars.

Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corporation remains the world leader in terms of the number of sold cars. The data published today concerns the sales between January and September of this year.

On the second place is the German company Volkswagen AG — 7 million 540 thousand sold cars. Sebastian Ogier is a champion again !

Recently Sebastian Ogier won the rally of Spain, having won 23-th victory of his career and the second repeated victory after becoming world champion in racing. The Frenchman overhead his team-mate of Volkswagen Motorsport Jari-Matti Latvalu, which was the only candidate to the winners of the League title. However, the season is not finished yet: WRC season will be over on November 13 in Wales.

From the first day Ogier was much more successful his pursuers, but puncture of the wheel on Sunday brought his advantage almost to nothing. Meanwhile, Latvala increased his changes on the asphalt surface. However, 30 years old Frenchman got the winner title, he was already in the World Rally Championship for the seventh season. "Winning one title is a great achievement, but the second is even more important: it shows that the first victory was not accidental," said the twice WRC Champion.

The third place in Spain was won by Mikko Hirvonen's Ford Fiesta RS, the top five places includes such names as Mads Ostberg and Dani Sordo. As for the Cup manufacturers, the Volkswagen have simply no competitors. Congratulations!
