Company Chrysler is not Chrysler anymore

Company Chrysler Group LLC changed its name to the company now known as FCAU.S. LLC. Meanwhile Chrysler name now will only be used in order to refer to a particular brand of car. This decision was made by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) formed after the merge of Fiat and Chrysler in January. Former Chrysler representatives noted that the renaming will not affect the operations of the company, staff and headquarters, which, as before, will be located in Auburn Hills. "The Renaming is only part of the changes, which go in the company of Fiat Chrysler Automobile. If a person changes its name from Smith to Jones for professional or personal reasons, it is still the same person. The new name we need to reflect our role in the new company, that's all" said the representative of Chrysler Ed Garshtain. Despite the change of name, the company will continue to stick to the business plan presented in spring. It involves the doubling of Chrysler through a compact sedan and two new crossovers. Firm Fiat Chrysler Automobiles registered in the Netherlands, pays taxes in the UK, and its shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. At the time of the merge "Fiat" owned 58.5 per cent of shares of Chrysler. FCA logo is designed by Robilant Associati, who worked with Alfa Romeo, Martini, Bacardi and Ferrero.
