Three new concepts from Chevrolet

Chevrolet introduced three of its projects at the SEMA motor show (in Las Vegas). On the first place is the concept Silverado High Desert that is very similar to a non-existent Chevrolet Avalanche thanks to some characteristic elements. We can see also such details of the truck as a modified grille, Brembo brakes and a 22-inch aluminum wheels.

The second concepts was Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab Concept. The Colorado team cab concept is paired with a matching Super Air Nautique 210 ski boat and custom matching boat trailer. Finished with an orange metallic flake paint and a black hood and roof.

The third concepts is Colorado Performance Concept, which is designed to demonstrate the capability of the midsize pickup to be used to improve an active lifestyle. The Colorado’s cargo bed is shown to carry both a motocross bike and a mountain bike.

Automaker Porsche declassified information about the new Cayenne GTS before its debut at the auto show in Los Angeles. New product is positioned as a sporty model and therefore have completed the Sport Package Design, which are extended wheel arches and side skirts. Also the car was tinted headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels, and ground clearance is decreased by 20 millimeters. The new GTS is slightly more compelling, ditching the V8 found in the last model with the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 putting out 440 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Porsche claims a 0-60 run of 5.2 seconds (nix a tenth for the Sport Chrono), and a top speed of 163 MPH.

6 door Mercedes S-Class Pullman

The most luxurious version of Mercedes S-Class Pullman, will become six-door and will have a landing formula 2 +2 +2 with rear seats installed facing to each other. The length of the new limo will be 6.4 meters. 

Limo will be available only in the version of the 6.0-liter S600 Twin-Turbo V12 engine with capacity of 530 HP and 830 nm of torque. The premiere is scheduled for the year 2016, the price is not known yet. The armored version will cost about a million dollars.

On the auto show in Los Angeles Mercedes will introduce a long version of the S-Class. New products will be sold under the revived Maybach brand. The car will be available at dealers as early as next year. Following the limousine Mercedes will release under this name sedan and cabriolet, in two years also a SUV based on the GL-Class.

S600 Maybach with 12-cylinder bi-turbo 6.0-liter engine rated 530 horsepower. Overall length of the car is 5600 mm, the wheelbase is equal to 3665 mm.

Hydrogen Toyota FCV for Japanese Rally Championship

Japanese company Toyota has produced a special version of the sedan, the hydrogen FCV (Fuel Cell Vehicle) for participation in the rally. The debut of the vehicle was organized on the track Shinshiro, Aichi. The car will take part in the test suite. The race started on November 1, the car had to overcome more than 200 kilometers.

The company didn’t open the technical details yet. The body of the car is painted in white color with elements of blue and black lines. It is diverse from FCV because of wheel rims, mudguards and a new bumper. The first sales of the production FCV in Japan are scheduled for April 2015 year, in Europe and the United States only in summer. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h approximately in 10 seconds, the mileage from gas stations to refuel is about 500 kilometers.

According to preliminary information, the release of hydrogen-powered models will be done by the fabric in Motomachi city, in Aichi Prefecture. Delivery will be established only in those regions where the infrastructure of hydrogen filling stations exists.

The price of the basic version of the novelty will be 8 million yen. As the representatives of the company, they hoped that by 2020, the cost will be reduced almost twice thanks to the large number of sales.

New models based on Mazda 2

Mazda has announced the plans to make a compact sedan on the base of Mazda 2. The car will be available in a month, on 28th of November at the motor show in Thailand. New products will be designed for the Asian market, but the supplies to Europe are also planned.

Initially sedan will be presented with a 1.5-liter diesel engine SKYACTIV-D with 105 horsepower. Later, perhaps, they will have gasoline engines too.

In addition, very soon the company is planning to introduce a new crossover based on the same Mazda2. It will receive the title of SH3. They have already posted some teasers novelties and the premiere will take place at Los Angeles Auto show.

The crossover will get increased ground clearance and new body panels. According to unofficial information, the motors of the car will be 1.5-liter petrol SKYACTIV-G and 1.5-litre diesel SKYACTIV-D.
