Fans of compact sport bikes are looking forward for Yamaha R3

One of the most anticipated new products of Milan EICMA-2015 Moto-show will be Yamaha R3. The novelty, according to the manufacturer, will be equipped with a 321-cc engine with a capacity of 44 horsepower. It is intended to replace, or complement the model R25. Today class 250ss clearly is in decline. Japanese manufacturers, one after the other, are trying to offer the market 1-or 2-cylinder "casual" motorcycles, but they failed to revive the massive demand. Time after time these models have been developed, usually in the direction of increasing motor. In fact the major automakers, such as Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha just could not build so simple bikes, what used to be the classic 4-cylinder 250-plastic model for moving around the city. It turned out too expensive for a simple motorcycle and too simple for the expensive one. In the end all they went through the growth of the expense, and 250ss bikes actually a thing of the past, and today all three manufacturers offer volume higher than 300. And now, Yamaha is preparing to exit the entry-level sport bike with three hundreds of cubes and, according to experts, can activate a stagnant market. Stated specifications of Yamaha R3 surpass those which had preceded R25 with 250-ccengine. Under the new, more powerful three cylinder engine liquid cooled, it will retain a modest weight not exceeding 170 kilograms. Therefore, among the main competitors it should look very confident.

Koenigsegg will be the fastest supercar at Nurburgring show

Swedish luxury car maker Koenigsegg in 2015, will try to rewrite the absolute record for the Northern loop of the Nürburgring, which now belongs to the seating on BR-Pagani Zonda R. Koenigsegg company is planning first to install the Nürburgring record model Agera R, then to improve it by One: 1. The manufacturer’s goal is to drive the circle in 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Supercar Agera R from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, accelerate the Coupe for 2.9 seconds and its top speed is 440 kilometers per hour. In Nürburgring in 2012 the supercar broke to 401.6 kilometers per hour. One model: 1 made its debut in the spring. It is equipped with stronger-1341 (1371Nm) V8 engine with twin turbo. The motor works as a conventional gasoline and bioethanol E85. The unit is combined with the seven-speed sequential gearbox with dual clutch. Up to 400 kilometers per hour, accelerate the Coupe through 20 seconds after launch. This model is 1341 kilograms.

Ferrari declassified 1050-strong super hybrid

The company officially unveiled the Ferrari track membrane modification of hybrid supercar LaFerrari-FXX k. The novelty pushes up to 1050 horsepower power plant and has the recovery system KERS kinetic energy. The hybrid powerplant was forced from 800 to 860 horsepower 6.3-twelve cylinder engine and electric motor, the impact of which was increased from 163 to 190 horsepower. Total torque units reaches 900 Nm, of which 750 Nm falls on the ICE. Transmission is seven level robot with two clutch. The track version of the supercar was 194 mm longer and wider than the usual LaFerrari mm 59 (4896and 2051 millimeter respectively), while retaining the same height (1116 mm) and wheelbase (2650 mm). Brakes are carbon-ceramic Brembo with 398 mm discs at the front and 380 mm at the rear.

Opel showed its smallest model

Opel has officially unveiled its smallest model is a five-door hatchback called Karl. Novelty is named after one of the sons of the founder of the German automaker Adam Opel. In the British market hatchback will be called Vauxhall Viva. It is expected that the public presentation of the model will be in spring of 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Overall length Opel Karl is 3680 millimeters. Thus, the novelty was smaller than Adam and Corsa. The difference in the length with the first model is 67 millimeters, and with the second is 341 mm. The Opel argue that the salon of "Karl", which is built on the new global platform of General Motors, will be able to accommodate up to five people, including the driver. Dynamic characteristics of a 900-kilogram "Karl" is not known yet.

Prices for Opel Karl in Europe will start from 10 million euros. This model is a competitor for Volkswagen up!, Kia Picanto, Hyundai i10 and Fiat Panda.

Mercedes-Benz produced Roadster to celebrate the victory in Formula 1

Two unique Roadster Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG, dedicated to the victory of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton in 2014, as part of a team Mercedes-AMG Petronas, will be issued in the amount of 19 copies. The machines will have a sign with serial number of the model and one of the nineteen race tracks of Formula 1 calendar 2014. The full name of the car is: Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG World Championship 2014 collector's Edition, and in the development of this model both pilots of Mercedes-AMG Petronas — Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took part. This season the pilots won the first places at the 16 and 19 tracks. Machines are presented in black and white colors. Black is the color of Hamilton, in addition to the car has Chrome exhaust pipes and Golden stripes on the lower part of the bumper, the golden letters of AMG and SL 63 as well as a golden border on light alloy disks, "gills" front wings and bonnet. This same theme continues in the Interior of the Roadster on the steering wheel, air ducts, mats, seats, and center console.

White Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG World Championship 2014 collector's Edition is the "artwork" of Rosberg and it is not-so-catchy: exterior color contrasts with grey inserts. Inside the white Salon are combined with grey leather seats and front panel. Special versions are equipped with a 5.5-liter turbocharged engine rated at 585 HP and 900Nm, their maximum speed was raised from 250 up to 300 km/h, however this car could be got only by the members of the VIP program Mercedes-Benz Circle of Excellence. Moreover, Roadsters as a pair-black and white — will cost 629 510euros, while each of the separately will cost 320 110 euro. The owners will receive gifts such as pilots 'helmets, which they used in the Formula 1, IWC Ingenieur Chronograph and a book about F1, signed by Hamilton or Rosberg.

The organizers of the competition women's World Car of the Year, which is being organized annually from 2009, have chosen the winner. In the most prestigious category of "women's world car of the year" was sedan Mercedes-Benz S-class, which was also voted as the best model in the category "Luxury car of the year". Ukrainians are preparing a new sports car

Design Bureau of Askaniadesign from Zaporozhye (Ukraine) is working on their first supercar. At the moment the car is under development and the public had so far only the computer images of this brainchild. In the pictures you can see the prototype of this supercar. First it was shown in one ZAZ company's plants. Askaniadesign hasn’t disclosed any technical details yet. According to the project manager's words Roman Sukhorukov the company is preparing a “big surprise” under the hood. As for the name of the new sports car, Askaniadesign will launch a special survey among their fans on the Facebook page.
