"Juke" of the world’s poorest President

Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, who is known for his ascetic lifestyle and is considered one of the most modest of Heads of the States, received an offer from an unnamed Arab Sheik about buying his Volkswagen Juke of 1987 year. The car was rated one million dollars.
Arab Sheikh made an offer to purchase "Juke" on the Summit of developing countries, "G77 plus China" held in mid-June in Bolivia. This proposal was not the first of its kind, but according to Mujica this suggestion caused him to think about the sale of the car.
"If I sell the car, money will go to the Fund to assist poor Plan Juntos or will go somewhere else but only for helping Uruguay," said Mujica. This Fund was established by Mujica, which regularly send to them 90 per cent of his salary. The monthly salary of the president is 250 thousand pesos (12 thousand 500 dollars).
Regarding the price of the "Juke" Mujica mentioned in the income declaration 70 thousand pesos (2thousand 850 dollars). In September 2013, Mujica has received from the Ambassador of Mexico in Uruguay a proposal to exchange his "Juke" on ten four-wheel-drive commercial vehicles. The Ambassador also promised to help Uruguayan President in selling this cars at a charity auction.
