Hydrogen Toyota FCV for Japanese Rally Championship

Japanese company Toyota has produced a special version of the sedan, the hydrogen FCV (Fuel Cell Vehicle) for participation in the rally. The debut of the vehicle was organized on the track Shinshiro, Aichi. The car will take part in the test suite. The race started on November 1, the car had to overcome more than 200 kilometers.
The company didn’t open the technical details yet. The body of the car is painted in white color with elements of blue and black lines. It is diverse from FCV because of wheel rims, mudguards and a new bumper. The first sales of the production FCV in Japan are scheduled for April 2015 year, in Europe and the United States only in summer. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h approximately in 10 seconds, the mileage from gas stations to refuel is about 500 kilometers.
According to preliminary information, the release of hydrogen-powered models will be done by the fabric in Motomachi city, in Aichi Prefecture. Delivery will be established only in those regions where the infrastructure of hydrogen filling stations exists.
The price of the basic version of the novelty will be 8 million yen. As the representatives of the company, they hoped that by 2020, the cost will be reduced almost twice thanks to the large number of sales.
